About IRIS: Who is available to assist me?

Everyone who chooses to participate in IRIS will have a Financial Service Agency who is available to you at no cost to your plan. Once the ICA approves your supports and services plan, the plan will be sent to the FSA. The plan gives the FSA the information it needs to know about he services you selected, what bills to pay, and who will be receiving payment.

The FSA will:

• Act as your payroll agent and take care of money issues like payroll, taxes, and other employer-related paperwork requirements.
  
  
• Send payroll checks or direct deposit to people you employ, and payments to the businesses or providers where you purchase other goods and services.
  
  
• Send you a monthly budget report.
  
  
• Contact you and the ICA if you request something that is not approved in your plan and budget.
  
  
• Answer questions you and the people you hire may have about payroll and employment matters.
