About IRIS: Who is available to assist me?

Independent Consultant Agency –
The Management Group, Inc. (TMG)

The Independent Consultant Agency (ICA) is an organization that oversees a group of Independent Consultants (IC). The Independent Consultant works with you to:

• Plan for the supports and services you need;
  
  
• Help you design your plan within your allocated budget;
  
  
• Approve your plan when all requirements are met; and
  
  
• Help you keep track of the paperwork, and other details as required by the Department of Health Services (DHS).

The ICA is available to answer your questions and respond to any concerns you have. If you need someone to meet with you, you can contact the Independent Consultant Agency to schedule a meeting at your convenience. ICA services are available to you at no cost to your plan.

Independent Consultants are people who live in your area. ICs are available to help you create a support and service plan and put that plan into action. Consultants can:

• Encourage you to pursue your hopes and dreams;
  
  
• Help you find workers and service providers;
  
  
• Plan with you to get more involved in the community;
  
  
• Help you create your plan for a “emergency back up” to keep you safe;
  
  
• Help you measure how well your support and service plan is working;
  
  
• Link you to a support broker if you wish to use your budget to purchase additional support with managing your plan.
