The Management Group, Inc. and The Employer Group, acting as co-employers, are seeking a IRIS Consultants (IC) to provide IRIS Participants with the assistance necessary to meet their dreams/outcomes and to identify and implement a community-based network of supports, as chosen by the participant. ICs have collaborative relationships with participants, which are based on the level of support the Participant requests of the IC. IRIS Consultants must be available and must respond to the participant in a timely manner because the Participants rely greatly on the IC to access resources and services. A successful IC shows long-term commitment and responsiveness to the requests and needs of participants.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with participants to develop and implement their Individual Supports and Services Plan (ISSP); document participant's personal experience outcomes and related supports; provide information to participants on support and service options; provide supporting documentation for the ISSP: high-cost documentation; estimates; Enterprise assessments; assist with the development of participant's support and service plans to assure they remain within their allocation; assist participants with developing agreements with providers that clearly articulate rates and expectations regarding care and services; assist with the development of participant's back up support plans; provide participants with ongoing support/education on the rights and responsibilities of the IRIS Participant: responsible use of public dollars; signing the ISSP signature page; LTC-FS and Medicaid eligibility renewals; assist participants in identifying and mitigating areas of potential risk as well as conflict of interest; assist participants with exploring integrated employment; assist participants in meeting expectations regarding reporting events such as critical incidents and abuse and neglect; provide support related to ongoing functional and financial eligibility requirements; assist participants with tracking medical/remedial receipts and provide reminders as appropriate to pay cost share or spenddown obligations; maintain regular contact with participants as outlined in the IRIS program requirements; maintain IRIS timelines, case noting, and participation in Regional and Individual Consultant meetings; and must be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality and abide by HIPAA standards.
Qualifications: Post High School degree and a minimum of two years of related work experience; experience working with any of the three target groups (Developmentally Disabled, Physically Disabled and/or Frail Elders); must be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality and abide by HIPAA standards; strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills; ability to travel within an average of a two-hour radius with reliable transportation; be at least 18 years of age; ability to pass all required criminal background checks; flexible scheduling – with the ability and willingness to work more than 20 hours per week if needed and provide day, night and/or weekend hours as required by participant’s needs; ability to work on own with minimal supervision is critical; commitment to initial and monthly training related to responsibilities as an IC; shows long-term, at least 2 years, commitment to the IRIS program; time management, organization, and prioritizing skills; creative problem solving skills; willingness to learn new skills; ability to develop and monitor the participant proposed plan and budget; ability to work with diverse populations and in varied circumstances; ability to identify and build strong community-based support teams; attention to detail; accessibility to a computer; demonstrated computer and software skills required; and proficiency with and access to the Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Outlook and Word.
Compensation and Hours: ICs earn $17.94/hour for training time; $18.45/hour after training is completed, and will be reimbursed for travel costs at $.55/mile. This is a part-time work from home position, so the hours and number of hours per week vary with no guarantee of hours per week. The number of hours worked is dependent upon the number and needs of each participant who may select you as an IC.

IRIS Consultant Mentor - Milwaukee

The Management Group, Inc.is seeking two Individual Support and Service Plan Specialists who are responsible for providing support to the progression of Individual Support and Service Plan (ISSP) development through reviewing, updating and/or processing Individualized Service Plans according to established procedures, guidelines, timelines and other applicable parameters and assisting with or coordinating other related projects as needed and/or requested.
Responsibilities: Analyze data and revise/update as needed; inform/report findings through data analysis to appropriate parties; track timelines and milestones as documented; review reports to ensure plans are being processed in a timely and efficient manner; attend and participate in IRIS-related meetings; pre-screen plans to qualify them for processing; process new plans by reviewing plan submitted by IRIS Consultant, transfer information from worksheet to current plan document, ensure fundability and determine action for non-fundable plans, ensure complete and accurate data, and coordinate start date with Aging and Disability Resource Center; process updates to existing plans by ensuring functional eligibility screen is complete, ensuring correct funding allocation, ensuring continued fundability, ensuring complete and accurate data and update plan document as appropriate, and partnering with ICs to meet participant expectations; provide and gain information on plan-related topics and issues for effective and timely plan processing by partnering with various internal and external resources in order to facilitate communication; provide ISSP training to new employees and other appropriate parties as needed; provide content and present plan-related information in monthly informational webinar; and provide plan-related support to other staff as required.

Participant Services Specialist - Fraud
The Management Group, Inc.is the contracted IRIS Consultant Agency (ICA) for the IRIS program. IRIS is a Wisconsin long-term support program where eligible individuals self-direct their publicly funded, community based long-term care services. TMG is seeking a Participant Services Specialist who is focused on fraud, abuse, and mismanagement of funds. This position is responsible for coordinating the programs efforts in fraud detection, investigation, reporting, education, and prevention. This Participant Services Specialist works directly with IRIS Consultants (IC), Orientation Consultants (OC), Mentors, other IRIS Consultant Agency staff, the Financial Services Agency (FSA), the Department of Health Services (DHS) and external stakeholders to ensure the integrity of the IRIS program.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain processes for detecting possible fraud and abuse situations; investigate reported and/or discovered incidents of potential fraud; develop processes for tracking suspicious situations as a prevention strategy; collaborate with ICA and FSA staff as part of investigation; document investigation of reported or discovered incidents; involve DHS and Department of Justice staff as necessary; prepare reports of detection and investigation activities; provide education to ICs and OCs regarding fraud detection and their responsibilities for assisting in ensuring program integrity; develop and disseminate informational materials to program participants explaining their responsibilities in the area of fraud detection and prevention; collaborate with ICA staff when working with a particularly challenging situation; document activities in these areas; prepare reports of education and prevention activities; assist with problem solving when individuals are calling with concerns regarding the IRIS program; provide backup to other Participant Services Specialists in the areas of Notice of Action, Restrictive Measures, Incident Reporting, Adults at Risk, Elder Abuse, Adult Protective Services, Background Checks, and other areas covered by the functional area; document all calls; actively participate in quality initiatives; represent the program and TMG in a professional manner; think creatively and make process improvements as applicable; and other activities as assigned by supervisor.
