As of April 30th, 2013, Deaconess Home Health is no longer available to provide Medical Assistance Personal Care and Supportive Home Care in the Southeast Area. The IRIS Consultant Agency has worked to create resources and support plans to strengthen transitions for those impacted by this change. We encourage you to reach out to your IRIS Consultant if you are in need of supports and would like to access these developed resources.

I'm very interested in getting some dialog going with another parent of an autistic adult. I don't know a solitary soul in Wisconsin who is such a person. I feel very much an outsider - most of the dietary & supplement changes which have improved my daughter's life are coming from parents of young children.
Cheryl has been with me since September of 2011 and this almost-two-years has been the happiest period of my entire life! I'm pretty sure it's been the happiest time of her…Continue
Our valued elder population is growing!
Did you know?
A meeting with the National Council of Senior Citizens resulted in President John F. Kennedy designating May 1963 as Senior Citizens Month, encouraging the nation to pay tribute to older people across the country. In 1980, President Jimmy Carter's proclamation changed the name to Older Americans Month, a time to celebrate those 65…Continue

The water is high on the Wisconsin River but you can still enjoy it from the shore.
Ferry Bluff trail is now open for your hiking and viewing pleasure, just follow HWY 60 towards Spring Green, out of Sauk City.
You also should come to the river to view the PELICANS during their migration; they make a short pit stop at the river, you can see them from the bridge, at the dam, the VFW park, or from a variety of canoe launches along the river around Sauk City.

"If Everybody Works" is a 15-minute video produced by the University of Iowa Center for Disabilities and Development. I understand that there needs to be regulations in place. But it is becoming so hard for the participants to use their funding for their needs that they are going without. There are new regulations put into place (what feels like daily) by whom? Who decided that some person or persons needed to be hired to call new participants and tell them nothing more than they will be contacted the following week by someone else? Wasteful state spending. Who decided that IRIS should feed…Continue
