Milwaukee Center for Independence will be showing the documentary film, I Am Beautiful on Thursday, April 5 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

This film features Ariel, an IRIS Participant, whose journey through the world of autism is documented by Shu Ling Hsieh.

Shu Ling's goal in creating this film was to correct what she saw as a tragic portayal of autism both online and in film. She followed Ariel around twice a month for a year and combined this footage with Ariel's own family videos to create I Am Beautiful.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
